My daughter and I decided to record a piece of our life together by blogging. We both love to quilt and play with fabric and we love to cook.
We'll post pictures of our projects (mostly quilts!), make notes about what worked and what didn't, and just use this space as a journal. We also cook together so we'll have pictures and recipes to share too. My daughter is 10 and it's so much fun to share these passions together!

Lovely Quilt... So exciting that you share this passion with your daughter. I have been trying to figure out how to get my boys to do some sewing with me... I have 8 and 4 year old boys, they really aren't interested :)
ReplyDeleteThere is hope! My son had to sew a drawstring backpack last year in middle school. He went looking through my stash and found "Monopoly" fabric. He loved making it!
